Indian Railways has introduced the 'Seva Service Trains' connecting small towns with big cities. Railways have introduced a total of 10 'Seva Service Trains' in different states. Along with the introduction of these trains, people coming from small towns to metropolitan cities in connection with jobs or employment are getting a lot of benefit.

The special thing is that no new rakes were built to start the 'Seva Service Trains'. Due to this, the Railways have not had to spend any extra cost in running these trains. People of the small town are also very fond of this service. This service has been started only through the existing rakes. Railways are running this fleet between Delhi to Shamli, Bhubaneswar to Nayagarh Town, Murkongselek to Dibrugarh, Kota to Jhalawar City, Coimbatore to Palani, Karur to Salem, Asarva to Himmatnagar, Yesvantpur to Tumakuru (Tumkur), Coimbatore to Pollachi.
Among these trains, the 'Seva Service Train' running from Vadnagar in Gujarat to Mahesana is very special. This train is being operated six days a week. While these trains deliver passengers faster than road travel, the fare is also less. Vadnagar is also the Hometown of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Broad gauge train has been started in Sabarkantha District. after a long time. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the locals. A plan to shift the Seva Service train currently running between Asarwa to Himmatnagar from Ahmedabad to Udaipur in the upcoming days. Along With the commencement of this service, people of both the states of Gujarat and Rajasthan will benefit.

According to a Senior Railway Official, if the results of these service trains are very good and people like them, then the railway can also increase the number of these trains in the coming time. The results of this service started at the moment are being monitored.
