In this 15 km long Section of Jodhpur Division, of North Western Railway was Metre Gauge in the beginning, then Broad Gauge Rail Bus Service was provided for passengers. This bus with a fare of only 10 rupees always full of passengers. Over time, the Railway crossing gate on this route increased and the train started to cover such distance in a quarter of an hour instead of 20 minutes.
